We are 1 body

In Paul's 12 letter to the Romans. He writes:
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Onqe of the prayers that is said at communion in the Episcopal church goes "we who are many are one body for we all share in the one bread and the 1 cup." At the church where I grew up we sang this as our fractional anthem. At my current church St. John's Episcopal church in fort Smith Arkansas we say it as a blessing on the communion we send out to give to members of the congregation who are homebound.
This phrase in the reading from Paul's letter to the Romans "We are 1 body" got me thinking about something I hear over and over listening to Abraham-hicks. We are source energy. I also thought of  Dr. Wayne Dyer quotes we are not physical beings living a spiritual life. We Are Spiritual Beings living a temporary physical life. Often our temporary physical existence overrides our spiritual side,  this source energy or one body. We have lost sight of our permanent spiritual selves who are all connected to source energy or God or Allah or whatever you choose to call it.
There's a quote from Native American poet John Trudell in which he said "We're not Indians, we're not Native Americans we're older than both concepts, We're the human beings." There is also a quote going around on Facebook Stop being Democratic or Republican. Be Honest, have morals, Show empathy value integrity. Be a Good Human.
Paul also gives us this challenge further in Romans Chapter 12:  "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;"  However especially these days it seems easier to attack one and other. Christians and non-christians are attacking each other and have been for centuries. Republicans and Democrats are attacking each other more so it seems than in any other decade. Pick any two opposing philosophical ideas or two opposing groups of people and inevitably you will find members of these groups attacking the other side either verbally or physically or sometimes both. Somewhere along the way many have forgotten or simply don't believe we are 1 [spiritual] body. May peace be upon you.
